A mysterious, spooky piece inspired by the slow central movement of Beethoven's infamous "Ghost" Trio, op. 70. Meant as a middle movement between my other piano trios The Aristos and Hexentarot, or as a stand alone piece accompanied by an improvising drummer.

Inspired by the paintings of Agnes Martin, this meditative miniature is part of a recent body of work that pairs exactly written material with improvisers who illustrate and elaborate upon it. Featuring a constantly changing array of articulations, dynamics and tone colors, the harp is accompanied by an improvised continuo of live electronics and/or non-pitched percussion.
